Dai Sifu – owner and head trainer
Reza Shouraki founded the Shouraki martial arts school in Aachen and still teaches there today. Since 1995 the school has stood for action, self-defence and fitness in Aachen. His journey began on a wrestling mat in Iran, at the age of three, long before any gym.
From wrestling at three to Jeet Kune Do
Dai Sifu Reza Shouraki is an experienced instructor and martial artist. Born in March 1964 in Babolsar, Iran, he began wrestling at the age of three. Since then he has trained in a range of martial arts, including Taekwondo, boxing, Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do.
During his military service he was taught knife and combat techniques and had to fight in the war between Iran and Iraq. These experiences taught him a great deal about fighting, life and death.
What he passes on
As an instructor, Reza Shouraki has trained many students to become accomplished martial artists. He teaches them the fighting techniques and also the values of respect, discipline and self-control.
In Germany he founded the Shouraki martial arts school, which offers 27 martial arts styles and specialises in Jeet Kune Do. He places great value on all-round training and also offers special classes for children from the age of three and for teenagers.
